Our Pricing and Terms of Service
We are committed to providing outstanding service that meets your needs, affordably and on schedule. We frequently review our rate structure to ensure that our services remain affordable to small businesses.
The following are our current rates for work performed on a time and materials basis, without a support or managed service agreement in effect. Service agreements offer significantly reduced rates.
Initial On-Site Visit and Evaluation of Your Needs: NO CHARGE
General Consulting Rate: $95 per hour
Minimum charge per on-site service call: 1 hour
After the first hour, we bill in 15-minute increments.
(General consulting hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am
to 5:00pm, except national holidays.)
Extended Consulting Rate: $140 per hour
Minimum charge per on-site service call: 1.5 hours
After the first 1.5 hours, we bill in 15-minute
increments.
(Extended consulting rate is in effect for all service
performed outside of General Consulting Hours.)
Terms and Service Agreements
The Initial Service Agreement defines the terms of how Acorn Technologies does business. It is the only form that is required before we can perform services on your behalf.
We offer an Annual Service Agreement in which you agree to purchase a minimum number of hours within a 12-month period. This agreement offers a significant discount of our standard rates.
If you need more hours than you purchased under the Annual Service Agreement, the additional hours are billed at the same discounted rate.
In addition, if you renew your Annual Service Agreement within 30 days of its expiration, your discounted rate will remain the same, regardless of any increases to our time-and-materials rates.
As long as you remain covered by an Annual Service Agreement, you rates will NEVER increase.

The Managed Service Agreement is an optional addendum to the Annual Service Agreement, and the Service Level Agreement is value-added benefit included at no cost with all Managed Service Agreements.
In addition, we’re open to discussing flat-fee arrangements for projects, as well as creative forms of payment. We accept checks and PayPal, and we will consider accepting livestock, as long as its adult size is not larger than that of a full-sized goat.
